About ‘Pusher’
Pusher is a stunning new Asian gangster film starting Assad Raja and Bollywood star Mahima Chaudhry.
Unlike most Indian language films – it is not a fantasy film with singing and dancing and overblown performances. In fact it has been described as the most realistic, well performed Indian crime film of recent years by Eastern Eye newspaper.
Furthermore, it is a 100% British Film shot in Hindi. The film has been made by a 100% European crew in England in the cities of London and Leicester.
Salim is a drug pusher working in the mean streets of London. We follow his story over the course of 7 brutal days after a drug deal goes wrong and his whole life spirals dangerously out of control.

Cast and Crew
Assad Raja is a British born actor who has acted on UK TV dramas & serials, as well as stage and radio.’Pusher’ is his first feature film in all three of the disciplines of actor,writer and director.His next film is The King of London.
Mahima Chaudhry is one of the most successful Indian actresses in the world.
A bona fide Bollywood star,she has acted in over 30 films since she debuted opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Pardes’. Always up for a challenge and exciting new ventures,’Pusher’ is her first British movie.
Pasha plays the role of ‘Kabir’ in Pusher, the best friend of Salim.
Pasha has featured in a wide variety of productions on stage,radio,television and of course film where he has worked alongside the hugely talented Ken Loach.
Marc plays the role of ‘Davar’ in Pusher.
Marc has been on the stage,screen,radio and in film for many years and has rubbed shoulders with big name stars such as Samuel L Jackson, Robert Carlyle and the legend that is Meatloaf!
Mohamad plays the role of ‘Shamsher’ in Pusher.
There’s an old saying in media,be in the right place at the right time. That really can be said of Mohamad.
Mohamad was a real find; he was spotted whilst working in film (literally,as security on the door of the Odeon cinema in Leicester!).
He was approached to star in Pusher because his robust build and imposing features made him naturally look the part to play the brutal Shamsher.
